Tips

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR YOUR SHOOTBefore your scheduled photoshoot, we will look at your current photos and discuss what you or your agency need. With this in mind, we will discuss the mood or character and expressions/looks we want to capture. To prepare for the shoot, I recommend that you drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest for one-two weeks before your shoot. You don’t want red or tired eyes when you shoot. Wax facial hairs a few days before the shoot, and bring a shaving kit to the shoot if you are doing a “clean” look after the “rugged” look. Whereas fashion shots are obviously about your clothes/accessories, headshots are not. It’s best NOT to wear clothing that have bold or busy patterns or colors that are too bright. Rich colors work well and do not wear solid white or solid black. Coordinate jewelry and accessories to go with your “look.” Also, if you wear glasses bring them if you want to wear them for the shoot. On a final note, bring your favorite music/ipod with you and eat before the shoot because it will take a few hours. Plan on having a good time in a comfortable atmosphere!
